Hey there, I’m Jane :) I’m not originally from Boston, but the North End has become something special for me—a true home away from home. When I first discovered the neighborhood, I was struck by its character: church bells in the distance, neighbors greeting each other like family, and the simple joy of grabbing a slice or a glass of wine at a place where everyone seems to know your name. But what made me fall in love with it, and what keeps me here, are the people.

I’ve always believed that life is about connection. I love bringing people together—introducing friends who I know will get along, gathering around a table for food and conversation, or running into familiar faces on the street. Those everyday interactions have made the North End feel like family, even though I didn’t grow up here.

Over time, this neighborhood has given me more than just a place to live—it’s given me community. It’s shown me that home isn’t only where you’re from, it’s also where you find people who make you feel seen, welcomed, and connected. For me, that’s what the North End is all about.

At the end of the day, I carry with me a simple truth: life is built on connection, and good people know good people. I feel lucky to live here now, surrounded by a neighborhood that has truly become my home away from home
